In reading this entry I was struck more by the term "homerific" than the news of Google's changed interface. How to interpret? Homeric, would be the adjective that would bring in allusions to one of Homer's epics, such as the Illiad. However it seems the reference was to Homer Simpson and the term was not intended to be Homeric, but rather a combination of Homer + Terrific. I'm still not sure i know what it means, other than to confirm continuous evolution of the language.
