Like YouTube, but for teachers. A first glance showed acceptable ads, embedding tools, but the video I tried to look at "Technology Fear Factor" took ages on my DSL to buffer and load.

Great idea! educative videos for teachers and students. It could have been just a tag for youtube, but this is a separate site.

I have found a few things on this site that are useful for what I teach but not a lot. I think the idea is great but just not extremely useful to me. The biggest drawback to this site is that our school system has blocked it from the server!! (Can you believe that - too much like You Tube they say!)

Public Sticky notes

If You Like You Tube, You'll Love Teacher Tube! Are you looking to teach a specific concept but want to see how another teacher does it? If so, Teacher Tube is the latest tool to enable teachers to share instructional strategies and best practice methods to support learning for a variety of concepts. Here is a video to help you teach Symmetry to Kindergarten students. This one teaches young learners about Cause and Effect featuring Curious George. Teacher Tube is free and has a free membership area and in my opinion, is certainly worth giving a try.
