South africa along with EU brokered a peace deal with the democratically elected president of Kongo and former rebel leader however fierce fighting started when the rebel leaders men refused to disarm. The rebel leader is Jean Pierre Bemba is staying in the South African Embassy and the EU ambassadors are saying the democratic process is badly injured in this mineral rich country.
