One of the coolest Firefox extensions. Works with Flock and Thunderbird too.

  1. FoxyTunes Mini has a new system tray icon
    • Hover on the tray icon to quickly get the InfoBox (even when the Mini is minimized)
    • Right click menu allows performing some common operations
  2. The search engine that performs quick Web searches can now be customized (Configuration > Customize Web Search)
    • More advanced search configuration coming soon
  3. The search box in FoxyTunes Mini now also supports search engines installed in Firefox
    • This is only available with the upcoming Firefox 2.0
  4. Drag and drop local files and directories to FoxyTunes Mini to start playing them
    • You can also drag and drop them onto the regular FoxyTunes (inside your browser)
  5. Drag and drop URLs to FoxyTunes to start playing them
  6. Added videos to quick searches (currently searches YouTube)
  7. Improved the mechanism for displaying album covers
