Nasir Abas was a An Qaeda top commander in Indonesia for 20 years apx. He taught bomb building and other insurgent terrorist tactics to recruits from Indonesia, Malasia, Phillipines etc.
He quit Al Qaeda when Bin Laden sent him a letter telling him to kill Jews and Americans.  Narsi changed sides and then had about 300 Al Qaeda members jailed.
