Skype conversation is better than traditional telephone recordings but still not as good as in-studio recordings Setup: 1. Get a [USB] headset; 2. Position headest mic opposite bottom of nose 3. shut down all other internet-based applications or consume lots of CPU 4. broadband internet connection (100kps is best, 40kbp is minimum); for each caller 5. Get latest version of Skype (2.6+ for OSX; 3.2 for Windows) 6. Set Skype and firewall preferences: watch video :) 7. set up audio recording capability 8. set up a separate channel for each party on the call
