According to an opinion poll commissioned by Israel’s Channel 2, 70 percent of Israelis oppose giving up the Golan Heights for peace with Syria, while 22% are in favor of such a move. More than half of those questioned said they believed the indirect talks with Syria were linked to the new allegations of corruption facing the prime minister.
