5. Get some salty-water nasal spray and use it every hour or so. This can make a huge difference in comfort and can reduce the chance of getting a flight-induced "cold" from the dry air in the plane. It feels great, and fishing for it in your carry-on bag takes up time.

Dissolve a tablespoon of honey into about 6 oz of hot water (not too hot) and "down" it. It'll put you out like a light.

It will lead to a mild glucose spike, followed by a mild insulin spike, which will kick off tryptophan, followed by serotonin, and finally melatonin. The melatonin will put you to sleep and kick off your body's "rest/recovery" cycle.

It's best if you wear an eye mask (or similar) because melatonin is only activated in darkness.

I do this nightly and my sleep has vastly improved. I recommended it to my friend for his flight from LAX to Germany, and he reported success as well.
