Would it be the success DVD was? Would it flop worse than LaserDisc? Would it cater to a slightly more advanced crowd but never reach the mainstream? Would it be a downright loser?

Good read. Maybe this is right. I think maybe Blu-ray will succed because of Internet and we get more and more portable. I want to be able to transfer media to portable devices, that will never happen with Blu-ray.
